骨瓷盘采用了我国著名植物科学画艺术家曾孝濂先生1998 年的作品《头花龙胆》作为设计元素。曾孝濂为中国科学院昆明植物研究所研究员级高级工程师，中国美术家协会会员。他从事科研艺术生涯四十余年，参与完成多项国家及省部级科研项目，绘制动植物科学画无数，为中国植物分类学做出了极大贡献。

龙胆，为云南八大名花，因“叶如龙葵，味苦如胆”而得名，是典型的高山花卉，具有较高的药用和观赏价值。青藏高原的原始龙胆属植物是当今龙胆属植物共同的祖先，青藏高原地区为龙胆属植物的分布中心和分化中心。我国现有247 种龙胆属植物，分布在云南境内约有120 种，6 个变种，约占全国50%。头花龙胆Gentiana cephalantha 为中国特有植物，花簇生枝端呈头状，是重要的中草药。

骨瓷盘正面采用釉上彩贴花工艺以保证花纹的还原度，COP15字样和曾孝濂先生签名则采用鎏金工艺。盘身边沿手工打制金边，盘身底部鎏金CBD COP15 相关信息以及龙胆花拉丁文、版权归属©、创作年份等。

The Bone china plate adopts the illustration “Gentiana cephalantha”(1998) by professeor Zeng Xiaolian, a famous Chinese botanical artist. Zeng worked as a professor of senior engineer of Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Member of China Artists Association. He has participated in and completed a number of national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, and has drawn countless zoological and botanical scientific illustration. During his more than 40 years of scientific research and artistic career, he has made great contributions to Chinese plant taxonomy. 

Gentiana is one of the eight famous flowers in Yunnan. It is named after “the leaves look like Solanum nigrum, the taste is bitter like gall”. It is a typical alpine flower with high medicinal and ornamental value. The primitive Gentiana origin from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is the common ancestor of the present-day Gentiana, in addition the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is the center of distribution and differentiation of the Gentiana. There are 247 species of Gentiana in China, and there are about 120 species and 6 varieties in Yunnan, accounting for about 50% of the country. Gentiana cephalantha is an endemic plant in China, Inflorescences terminal clusters, and it is an important Chinese herbal medicine.

The front of the bone china plate uses overglazed color figure technology to ensure the authenticity of the pattern, and the COP15 and Mr. Zeng Xiaolian’s signature are gilded. The gilt edge is hand-made on the side of the plate, and the bottom of the plate is gilded with CBD COP15 related information, as well as the Latin text of Gentiana, copyright© ownership, creation year, etc.
